"Growth+Decay" is a graphically manufactured implementation of language used to describe the growth organic organisms. This piece is a study of iterative and industrial construction/deconstruction, using geometric forms with underlying L-System production rules. L-System is a parallel rewriting system originally created by a biologist to describe the growth of algae and other various multicellular organisms. In this piece, I attempt to provide a geometric/industrial view of the growth and decay of organic organisms by making use of language initially created to describe growth of said organic organisms.
